FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas freshman guard Jordan Phillips is tranferring from Arkansas, according to a report.
Jeff Goodman, college basketball insider and analyst at WatchStadium.com, first reported the news of Phillips' decision to leave the program.
This summer, Phillips underwent surgery to repair a torn meniscus and was not fully cleared to practice until Nov. 20, but saw his first game action (10 minutes) on Nov. 21 in Arkansas' 90-68 win over Montana State.
Since, Phillips has played in only six games, not playing more than nine minutes in any game, and drew three DNPs.
