Former Arkansas and USC quarterback Ricky Town has transferred to a junior college, 247Sports reported Sunday.
Town, a redshirt freshman last season, will play at Ventura College in Ventura, California, his hometown. He will have two years of eligibility remaining after he presumably leaves the junior college following the 2017 season.
The 6-foot-3, 214-pound Town, a former four-star recruit, never took a snap in his Razorbacks career. He enrolled early at USC in January 2015 but left the school that August after one week of fall camp and transferred to Arkansas.
After sitting out the 2015 season due to NCAA transfer rules, Town lost out on the starting job to junior quarterback Austin Allen.
