FAYETTEVILLE — Connor Limpert felt good when he trotted onto the field for a 55-yard field goal attempt during the third quarter of a game against Vanderbilt last October.
It didn’t matter to him that he had missed a 60-yard attempt one quarter earlier, on the final play of the first half. He felt good about that attempt, too, but it fell a little short.
Inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, Limpert feels good from inside 65 yards. He has made one from as far away as 69 yards during practice, and he made a 70-yard attempt during warmups in the thin air at Colorado State last year.
