FAYETTEVILLE — There was one mindset Arkansas basketball coach John Calipari wanted his team to play with entering a crucial game against No. 15 Missouri.
His team needed to understand what was at stake Saturday at Bud Walton Arena. Calipari then needed his eight-deep rotation to play with that knowledge.
“I broke out the ‘refuse to lose,’” Calipari said. “I don’t care what you do, how you do it, refuse to lose.”
The Razorbacks (16-11, 5-9 SEC) applied the mindset, surged past the Tigers in the second half and held on for a critical 92-85 victory.
