Arkansas' hot streak of landing Louisiana prospects continued Saturday when athlete De'Vion Warren orally committed to the Hogs prior to the spring game.
Warren, 5-11, 168 pounds, 4.53 second in the 40, of Monroe (La.) Ouachita Parish, chose the Razorbacks over scholarship offers from Colorado State, Memphis, Louisiana Tech and Louisiana-Monroe while also drawing interest from LSU, Tulane and Temple.
Wide receivers coach Michael Smith recruited Warren.
"He had a big impact," Warren said of Smith. "I love coach Michael Smith. He's honest. He's been trying to get me down here. I just love him."
Warren, who plays quarterback for the Lions, will play receiver at Arkansas.
