The third in a series previewing SEC football teams
HOOVER, Ala. — No player in college football was statistically more productive than Ole Miss quarterback Matt Corral last season.
Corral averaged 384.9 yards in total offense to lead the nation. He completed 70.7% of his passes for 3,337 yards and 29 touchdowns, and rushed for 506 yards and 4 touchdowns.
The week before the Rebels played at the University of Arkansas, Corral hit 21 of 28 passes for 365 yards and 2 touchdowns without an interception in a 63-48 loss to Alabama.
But the Razorbacks made Corral look downright terrible as they intercepted him six times in their 33-21 victory.
