Here’s a few quick hitters as we get into ‘game week mode’ around here…
If Louisiana Tech coach Skip Holtz knows who his starter will be at quarterback Saturday, he hasn’t spilled the beans yet. The August 5 DWI arrest of senior starter Ryan Higgins yielded a suspension from Holtz from starting the opener, but he likely will play at some point in the game. Backups J’mar Smith (rFr.) and Price Wilson (Soph.) have not separated themselves in the pre-season. Wilson has a big arm, but neither have any game experience.
