FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas will be the No. 6 national seed in the NCAA Softball Tournament that begins later this week.
The Razorbacks (40-9) will open tournament play against Manhattan (22-14) at noon Friday. The game will be televised by SEC Network.
South Dakota State (42-6) will play Stanford (31-20) in the second regional game at 2:30 p.m.
The Razorbacks, who won a share of the SEC regular-season championship for the first time this season, will be a regional host for the second time in program history. Arkansas hosted its first regional at Bogle Park in 2018.
