FAYETTEVILLE — While snow fell outside Bud Walton Arena, No. 13 Arkansas started out on fire in its 105-58 victory over Central Arkansas on Sunday.
The Razorbacks (7-1) did not allow a field goal in the first quarter and hit 11 of their first 18 shots to take a 24-2 lead. Arkansas led 54-12 at halftime.
Turnovers were a big factor in Arkansas' hot start. UCA (1-4) had 14 turnovers, which turned into 27 points in the first half. UCA came into the game averaging 17.5 turnovers, and committed 23 Sunday.
Arkansas was led by Chelsea Dungee who had 26 points, shot 69% from the field and hit all three of her 3-point attempts.
