FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas signed 20 players Wednesday on the first day of the early signing period that runs through the end of the week.
Of the 20 signees, 19 were verbally committed coming into the day. The addition was four-star cornerback Greg Brooks of Harvey, La., who signed with the Razorbacks after being verbally committed to Mississippi State for several months.
Brooks had offers from nearly half of the programs in the Southeastern Conference.
After Brooks' signing, Arkansas was ranked No. 12 in the Rivals.com national team recruiting rankings, and fifth in the SEC behind Alabama, Georgia, Texas A&M and LSU.
