After dropping their first round game in the 2015 College World Series, the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Miami Hurricanes will face off in an elimination game Monday afternoon at 2 p.m. central time at TD Ameritrade Park.
Arkansas fell 5-3 in their opener against Virginia after squandering many opportunities to put runs on the board. The Hogs left six men on base, all of which were early in the contest. Cavaliers starter Connor Jones was struggling to find the plate early and the Razorbacks didn’t capitalize.
Sophomore National Player of the Year and recent Dick Howser Trophy winner Andrew Benintendi made an impact again for Arkansas, driving in two of their three runs.
