FAYETTEVILLE — Sophomore G’Auna Edwards won the 60-meter hurdles in 8.33 seconds and the high jump by clearing 5 feet, 7 inches, and took fifth in the 200 in 24.66 for the University of Arkansas women’s track and field team Friday night as the defending national champion and No. 2-ranked Razorbacks opened the indoor season at the Arkansas Invitational.
Arkansas took the top seven spots in the 200, with sophomore Tiana Wilson winning in 23.87, junior Jada Baylark second in 23.97 and junior Morgan Burks Magee third in 24.82.
The Razorbacks went 1-2-3 in the mile with senior Carina Viljoen winning in 4:37.
