FAYETTEVILLE — At least two previously-injured Arkansas players are expected to play this weekend at Kentucky.
Designated hitter Matt Goodheart (shoulder) and pitcher Cody Scroggins (elbow) should be able to play in the series that begins Friday, Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn said.
Goodheart has not played since he injured his shoulder diving back toward first base on a pickoff attempt against Tennessee last Friday. The sophomore is leading the Razorbacks' every-day players this season with a .385 batting average and .497 on-base percentage.
"I think he'll be ready tomorrow," Van Horn said Thursday just before the team flew to Kentucky.
