FAYETTEVILLE — Hopeful for a No. 2 seed that would have given it home-field advantage through the first three rounds of the NCAA Tournament, the Arkansas soccer team was a No. 3 seed when the postseason bracket was revealed Monday.
The Razorbacks (16-3-2) are scheduled to host North Texas (15-5-1) in the first round of the tournament Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Razorback Field.
“If you’re going to go to a Final Four, Elite Eight or win a national championship, you’re going to have to beat the best teams at some point,” Arkansas coach Colby Hale said of the seed.
