FAYETTEVILLE – If Saturday’s Red-White spring football game was supposed to inspire excitement, it probably wasn’t a wild success.
If it was simply to re-iterate a changed ideal among the Arkansas football team under coach Bret Bielema compared to previous years, it certainly held that standard.
An announced crowd of 41,220 looked more like 30,000 and didn’t make a ton of noise. To be fair, nothing they saw on the field inspired much reason for exuberance. New offensive coordinator Dan Enos’ offense didn’t show an awful lot of change to the untrained eye. It also isn’t 100 percent learned and certainly wasn’t on full-display, either.
