Arkansas survived the upset bug Thursday night in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
On a day that included two upsets on the same court at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, N.Y., the fourth-seeded Razorbacks held off the scrappy America East Conference champion Vermont for a 75-71 victory. The Catamounts (28-6) had an eight-game win streak snapped.
Arkansas (26-8) advanced to a second-round matchup with New Mexico State on Saturday.
