Razorback target JJ Andrews named Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year

Little Rock Christian junior shooting guard JJ Andrews has been named the Arkansas 2024-25 Gatorade Player of the Year.

Andrews, 6-7 and 215 pounds, led the Warriors to a 24-8 record and to the Class 5A state quarterfinals while averaging 28.5 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2 blocks. He has 2,201 points in his career.

ESPN rates him a 4-star recruit and the No. 22 overall prospect for the 2026 class.

Andrews was MVP of the 2024 state tournament, the top junior at the Nike Thanksgiving Hoopfest and an NBPA Top 100 participant.
