The offensive line coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks said on Twitter that he helped a man who was ejected from his car while traveling north on Interstate 65 in Alabama.
In a tweet posted at 1:40 p.m. Thursday, Kurt Anderson said he and an off-duty paramedic provided aid to a man who sustained a head injury in the accident.
"I pray the man that myself and an off-duty paramedic helped on the side of the road makes it," Anderson wrote.
Anderson praised the paramedic's quick response but described the injury as "awfully gnarly."
He said the paramedic "came from the other side of the highway to stabilize his neck.
