FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas remained unbeaten against in-state opponents Saturday at Bud Walton Arena.
The Razorbacks defeated Central Arkansas 100-75 at Bud Walton Arena to improve to 25-0 all-time against in-state teams. Arkansas improved to 7-0 against the Bears.
Saturday's game was the first scheduled by the Razorbacks against an in-state team in 70 years. Arkansas had not played an in-state team since it overcame a 21-point deficit in the second half to defeat Arkansas State 67-64 in overtime at Barnhill Arena during the 1987 NIT.
The Razorbacks defeated Arkansas-Little Rock 79-64 in an exhibition game last October, but that game did not count toward either team's record.
