FAYETTEVILLE -- Arkansas' defense got plenty of rest Saturday night against Texas Tech.
The Razorbacks won the time of possession 36:43 to 23.17 but still lost the game.
Texas Tech's offense made just about every second count as the Red Raiders continuously scored quickly in a 35-24 victory over Arkansas at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
The Red Raiders piled up 485 yards in total offense, including 445 in 13:54 for five scoring drives after scoring a touchdown with 13:09 left in the fourth quarter.
"They live on explosive plays, and tonight we just gave up too many," Arkansas cornerback DJ Dean said.
