FAYETTEVILLE — Malachi Singleton, the backup quarterback for Arkansas football during the 2024 regular season, committed to Purdue out of the NCAA transfer portal Thursday.
Singleton will join forces with former Arkansas defensive coordinator Barry Odom, who was hired as Purdue’s head coach earlier this month after two seasons coaching UNLV.
The 6-1, 225-pound dual-threat quarterback was a former consensus 4-star prospect in the 2023 class. Singleton committed to Arkansas out of North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Ga., while Odom was the Razorbacks’ defensive coordinator.
