Bobby Portis’ run in Game 2 of the Milwaukee Bucks’ first-round series against the Chicago Bulls was short lived Wednesday.
After recording a 10-point, 12-rebound double-double in the series opener last weekend, the former Arkansas forward saw the floor for less than six minutes in the Bucks’ 114-110 home loss because of an injury.
The series is now tied 1-1.
With under one minute remaining in the first quarter, Portis missed a six-foot floater. Moments later, as he battled for an offensive rebound with the Bulls’ Tristan Thompson, Portis took a shot to the face from Thompson that led to him falling along the baseline.
