FAYETTEVILLE — Most Arkansas fans did not expect much out of the 2018 season.
It's safe to say they didn't expect this.
The Razorbacks' season is on life support after a blowout loss to North Texas, 44-17 at Razorback Stadium on Saturday. The final score might not indicate just how thoroughly the the Razorbacks of the SEC West were outplayed by the Mean Green of the Conference USA West.
The 27-point defeat was Arkansas' eighth-worst in a regular-season non-conference game since World War II. Most of the others were against the likes of Southern Cal, Miami and Texas.
