FAYETTEVILLE — Carl Stall has not been been back to his college campus in 28 years.
Stall, a Paragould native who started 87 games as an infielder and outfielder at Arkansas from 1992-93, will be at Baum-Walker Stadium for three games this weekend when the third-ranked Razorbacks host Portland. He wouldn’t miss this series.
Stall’s son, Cole Katayama-Stall, is a freshman infielder for the Pilots. His hyphenated last name includes the maiden name of his mother, Anna, who is a news anchor for KPTV, a FOX affiliate in Portland.
His parents met studying journalism in Fayetteville and worked together at the local CBS affiliate, KFSM, for a short time after college.
