Liberty blitzed the Arkansas women’s basketball team early and pulled away from the Razorbacks off late to win 75-61 on Wednesday at the Cherokee (N.C) Invitational.
Arkansas fell behind 27-10 by the end of the first quarter and was outscored 21-6 during a key stretch of the fourth quarter. It was the second consecutive loss for the Razorbacks (6-7).
"We started flat, finished flat," eighth-year Arkansas coach Mike Neighbors said on the Razorback Sports Network postgame radio show. "...It's a different reason [we lost] tonight. It's the only thing I'm encouraged by, is that it's a different reason.
