FAYETTEVILLE — Two players on the Arkansas defense were recognized by the SEC on Monday after impressive performances at No. 16 Mississippi State.
Linebacker Bumper Pool and safety Joe Foucha were named co-defensive players of the week in the conference after finishing with 20 tackles and two interceptions, respectively. The last Razorbacks player to earn SEC defensive player of the week was Martrell Spaight in 2014.
Pool’s 20 tackles are the most in an FBS game this season and tied for the 10th-most in a game in program history. He leads the SEC in total tackles with 31.
