FAYETTEVILLE — Day 1 of preseason practice went swimmingly for Arkansas linebacker Bumper Pool.
The senior contributed to what he said was a productive day for the Razorbacks’ defense. In all, the group came away with six interceptions, he said, two of which belonged to him.
“I was excited about it,” Pool said. “Just something I wanted to work on was my pass coverage. I think that comes with working on your technique and knowing the coverages better."
Pool credited linebackers coach Michael Scherer and defensive coordinator Barry Odom for his improvement in that area.
Pool was also adamant about working on his body following last season.
