FAYETTEVILLE — San Jose State receiver Tre Walker, at 5-11, 180 pounds, presented many more challenges than expected last weekend in the Spartans' 31-24 win in Razorback Stadium.
Walker, who missed the team's first two games of the season, caught a game-high 12 passes on 16 targets for 161 yards and served as a safety valve for quarterback Josh Love throughout the night. Two more Spartans receivers finished with touchdown catches as well.
As Arkansas returns to SEC play Saturday against No. 23 Texas A&M, the Razorbacks' secondary, which saw Love throw for 402 yards one week ago, will be tasked with limiting a more physically and statistically impressive crop of Aggies receivers, which begins with junior Jhamon Ausbon.
