Arkansas basketball was unable to take advantage of a prime opportunity to bolster its resume in what turned out to be a scrappy, frustrating 69-61 loss to Texas A&M.

There were plenty of moments that indicated the Razorbacks might have the more talented team, but the Aggies’ hard-nosed style of basketball – led by their disruptive defense and relentless pursuit of rebounds – was the difference.

While this loss doesn’t really impact Arkansas’ tournament chances much, a win would’ve put it firmly in the driver’s seat of its own destiny. Now, the Razorbacks still need to find at least three – maybe even four – wins over their final six regular-season games.
