Panthers gave Hogs their best, shot after shot

FAYETTEVILLE — It’s not often a team comes into Bud Walton Arena, knocks down 17 three-pointers and leaves without a win.

But that’s what happened on Wednesday night as transfer Chris Lykes scored 26 points and JD Notae nearly notched a triple-double with 17 points, 9 assists and 8 rebounds in Arkansas' 93-80 win over Northern Iowa.

Lykes and Notae were among six Razorbacks in double figures against the Panthers, a Missouri Valley Conference team that has won 25 games against Power 5 teams in the last 15 years. That list includes Kansas, North Carolina, Texas, UNLV, Missouri, Purdue and Colorado.
