Ole Miss is first most important game of Arkansas season

FAYETTEVILLE – No one at the Fred W. Smith Football Center is about to count blessings or chickens before they’ve hatched, as the old phrase goes. The coaches, staff and players who roam those hallways and basements know, though, a win Saturday against Ole Miss and a lot of the guff they’ve taken through the season’s first nine weeks will be put out of mind.

A lot of the guff, that is. Not all of it.

The entire Arkansas program, all those walking through the Smith Center, are taking a four-game approach. It’s coachspeak and a somewhat tired line, but it’s also applicable.
