FAYETTEVILLE — A haircut helped Jake Reindl look like a new man after Arkansas returned from a long road trip last weekend.
Some video sessions with pitching coach Wes Johnson have helped Reindl look like a new pitcher, too.
The Arkansas junior right-hander retired the final 18 batters he faced during the Razorbacks' 5-4 comeback win over Auburn on Sunday at Baum Stadium. The win gave Arkansas (24-9, 8-4 SEC) a series sweep and a one-game lead over Ole Miss and LSU in the SEC West.
Reindl set career highs in innings pitched (7) and strikeouts (9).
