Offensive line not so thin anymore

FAYETTEVILLE — Kurt Anderson has numbers now. And there's some true SEC size throughout the Arkansas offensive line.

The Hogs' second-year offensive line coach is pleased through two workouts of spring drills, although judging line play before there's been any full contact can be misleading.

“We've actually got some experience, got some numbers,” Anderson said Thursday. “We've got six guys who actually started games and we've added three really good freshmen at mid-term. Those freshmen are absolutely brilliant as far as their minds, too.”

I've always heard that offensive line play is where smarts are really needed, although the stereotype is that they are big and dumb.
