Arkansas got a brutal taste of March Madness on Thursday, courtesy of a last-second shot by Ole Miss.
On the verge of completing a comeback to reach the SEC Tournament quarterfinals, Trevon Brazile missed a pair of free throws with 7.9 second left and Sean Pedulla drilled a 3 on the other end to lift the Rebels to a wild 83-80 win over the Razorbacks at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Pedulla, a 40.7% shooter from deep, had missed his first six 3s before knocking down his seventh attempt with 1.3 seconds remaining. A halfcourt heave by Billy Richmond III hit the backboard and went off the front of the rim at the buzzer, capping an instant classic.
