FAYETTEVILLE – Sam Pittman is trying, same as the rest of the Arkansas staff, to figure out what exactly is going on with the team’s offense running the football.
Pittman isn’t the running game coordinator. He is the offensive line coach. He is the boss of the five biggest offensive linemen in football. That line is blocking for an attack that has produced 142.5 rushing yards per game in the Razorbacks’ 1-1 start. That total was 218 per game last year.
The flip side is quarterback Brandon Allen has thrown for the fifth most passing yards of any quarterback in Football Bowl Subdivision.
