No. 5 Arkansas soccer ends regular season with win over Ole Miss, looks ahead to postseason

No. 5 Arkansas soccer was beating Ole Miss in every category aside from the scoresheet — similar to Thursday’s 0-0 draw against Texas A&M.

The Razorbacks then scored two goals in the first half’s final minutes to put the game to rest. Kate Doyle got on the end of a cross before Sophia Aragon beat four defenders with a move for Arkansas’ first two goals.

During a 5-0 win, Ava Tankersley’s second-half brace — her fourth of the season — and Doyle’s second goal of the day added insurance.

“Sunday road games are difficult and we knew we were playing a team that had nothing to lose,” Arkansas coach Colby Hale said.
