No. 14 Arkansas gymnastics won the Metroplex Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday with a score of 196.4. The Razorbacks finished ahead of No. 19 Arizona (196.125), No. 10 Oregon State (196.025) and Southeast Missouri State (192.35).
It was Arkansas’ third straight season competing at the event, which is contested on podium at the Fort Worth Convention Center. The Razorbacks (10-6) finished second in their previous two appearances at the meet.
Arkansas’ score was its second-highest away from home this season and will replace one of its lower road totals to boost its National Qualifying Score.
