Runs were aplenty and pitching was dominant for the 13th-ranked Arkansas softball team Monday in Jacksonville, Fla.
The Razorbacks (29-8) defeated North Florida 14-0 in 5 innings for a program-record 18th victory by run rule.
Arkansas scored in every inning against an Ospreys (32-11) team that entered ranked No. 42 in the NCAA’s RPI rankings. North Florida sits atop the ASUN with a 12-0 league record.
The win completed a 3-1 stay in the Sunshine State that included a series victory at No. 2 Florida over the weekend. Monday was the first meeting between the Razorbacks and the Ospreys.
