One former Arkansas player got a second chance Sunday, while another could be getting his first opportunity in the near future.
Zach Hocker – who was cut by the Saints after six games earlier this year – was signed by the St. Louis Rams and made an extra point in his only attempt in their 31-7 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
The Rams signed Hocker because their starting kicker, Greg Zuerlein, was questionable for the game because of a groin injury. With Zuerlein on the sidelines, Hocker was 1 of 1 on extra points and had two touchbacks on kickoffs.
