Darren McFadden had an up-and-down performance Monday night.
The former Arkansas running back had 53 yards on 14 carries, as well as a go-ahead touchdown run with 1:14 left, in the Cowboys’ 19-16 win over the Redskins.
However, on the run before his touchdown, McFadden went out of bounds after getting a first down to stop the clock.
That gave the Redskins plenty of time to answer the touchdown with a score of their own, tying the game at 16-16. Dallas eventually won the game on a 54-yard field goal with nine seconds left.
Earlier in the game, McFadden had to leave the game to be evaluated for a possible concussion after fumbling for the second time.
