The NCAA deadline for underclassmen to withdraw from the NBA Draft and maintain eligibility is being pushed back, according to a release.
NCAA Senior Vice President of Basketball Dan Gavitt said in a statement that the modification is being made with the health and well-being of student-athletes in mind as well as their ability to make the most informed decisions during an uncertain time and is based on the NBA’s recent announcement to postpone the upcoming NBA Draft Combine.
The new withdrawal date will be made public once the NBA has developed a timeline for the pre-draft process, Gavitt added.
