Running back and fullback Kody Walker has been granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA. This is great news for the Arkansas Razorbacks’ football team as he’ll now be entering his redshirted junior year.
The junior is slated as the No. 1 fullback to start the season for Bret Bielema’s rushing attack, but will likely see a lot of carries as the team’s third down back. He’ll also help stars Jonathan Williams and Alex Collins when they need a rest. The grant also gives Arkansas plenty of depth for next year’s roster as Williams graduates and Collins likely heading for the NFL.
