FAYETTEVILLE — U.S. Navy fighter jets will perform a flyover prior to Arkansas' game against TCU on Saturday.

Four F/A-18F Super Hornets will fly past the stadium at the conclusion of the national anthem prior to kickoff. The game is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.

The jets are from Strike Fighter Squadron 11, which is stationed at Naval Air Station in Oceana, Va. The squadron is nicknamed "Red Rippers" and deploys from the U.S.S. Harry S. Truman.

The F/A-18F Super Hornet serves as a modern long-range, multi-mission, all-weather strike fighter that is fully capable to conduct both air-to-air and air-to-ground combat missions.
