The second time proved to be the charm for the Razorbacks and Wehiwa Aloy in the Arkansas vs Ole Miss rubber match Sunday afternoon.
After capping the first comeback with a two-run blast, the slugging shortstop hit a three-run homer in the ninth to lift the No. 3 Razorbacks to a 12-9 win over the No. 13 Rebels at Swayze Field in Oxford, Miss.
The back-and-forth victory, which featured Arkansas overcoming a 4-0 deficit through three innings and 9-8 deficit with two outs in the ninth, also gave Dave Van Horn’s squad two out of three on the opening weekend of SEC play.
