Northern Kentucky guard Jalen Tate became University of Arkansas Coach Eric Musselman's second graduate transfer in April to announce for the Hogs when he publicly committed Friday.
Tate, 6-6, 180 pounds, averaged 13.9 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists as a redshirt junior while shooting 48.5% from the field, 18.2% from beyond the three-point line and 67.6% from the free-throw line.
He was the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year while recording 41 steals and 11 blocked shots this season. Tate, who has the ability to guard 1-3, was named to the Horizon League All-Defensive Team in 2018 and 2019.
