FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas' exhibition basketball game against Arkansas-Little on Sunday doesn't figure to be just any run-of-the-mill preseason scrimmage.
Not only are the Razorbacks and Trojans, coached by former Arkansas All-American guard Darrell Walker, meeting for the first time at 3 p.m., but the program is set to name the court in Bud Walton Arena in former coach Nolan Richardson's name.
Razorbacks coach Eric Musselman, who has spoken with former Razorbacks guards Corey Beck and Clint McDaniel in recent days, expects the game to be a great event for the entire state. Arkansas and UALR received a waiver from the NCAA to play the exhibition, and proceeds will benefit Arkansans impacted by flooding this spring.
