Arkansas coach Eric Musselman’s first assistant coach hire also has an NBA background that could aid in recruiting.
Corey Williams, most recently the head coach at Stetson, has been named to Musselman’s staff. He was a second round draft pick of the Chicago Bulls in 1992 and part of the Bulls' 1993 NBA Championship team.
He also had a short stint with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Prior to the NBA, Williams played point guard for Oklahoma State and helped lead the Cowboys to the Sweet 16 in 1990-91 and 1991-92.
He was the chief recruiter for Oral Roberts and Oklahoma State before joining Leonard Hamilton’s staff at Florida State.
