FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas guard Moses Moody continues to join elite company.
The Razorbacks’ star freshman was named SEC freshman of the year by the league's coaches on Tuesday. He is the second Arkansas player to win the award, joining Patrick Beverley in 2007.
Moody was also an All-SEC first-team selection, marking the fourth consecutive season the Razorbacks have placed a player on the first team, and an All-Freshman team pick.
JD Notae, who averaged 12.9 points per game, was named 6th man of the year. He came off the bench in 25 of 26 regular-season games.
