Former Arkansas pole vaulter Sandi Morris will compete in the finals at the World Championships in Beijing.
Morris was one of 14 pole vaulters to clear 14 feet, 9 inches during the qualifying round. The final round will take place Wednesday.
Morris has finished second to 2012 Olympic gold medalist Jenn Suhr the last two years at the U.S. national meet. Morris won the NCAA championship indoors and finished second outdoors earlier this year.
