FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas is expected to have its leading tackler available for its Texas Bowl matchup with TCU on Dec. 31.
Senior linebacker Grant Morgan, speaking to reporters Tuesday for the first time since his knee injury on Dec. 5 at Missouri, will be ready to play against the Horned Frogs next week. He is currently second nationally in total tackles with 111.
“I’ll be good to go,” Morgan said. “I’ve been dealing with everything, just like everybody else. It's been good."
Tuesday was an eventful day for Morgan, who was named one of three finalists for the Burlsworth Trophy, which is given annually to the nation’s most outstanding player who began his career as a walk-on, and a first team All-SEC selection by the league’s coaches.
